Waaay back in 2001 I tried spinning a pair of poi for the first time.  I loved it! It took less than one rotation to get me hooked. So I spent all my free time spinning! In 2003 I set up an award-winning Circus Skills Society at my University.  I learned other circus skills so that I could teach others. I also spent a lot of time spinning poi in various nightclubs in Bradford.

After University I went on to teach circus skills full time in schools across Bradford with ‘Urban Circus Arts’. I taught hundreds of children every week aged between 7-16, but I really wanted to be a circus performer so…

I moved to Guildford and became a fire performer! Performing fire shows with the group ‘Burnt Toast’. Loving this as much as she did I moved to South Africa and performed in yet more fire shows with the group ‘Fire Tribe’.  If you would like to know more about fire performing please check out the FAQ’s page.

On my return to the UK, I continued life as a circus performer. I moved to Bristol, the center of all things circus in the UK.  I now perform my own award-winning solo fire show and a glow show as well as choreographing and performing in collaborative work.
